Women created the first media conventions; Women organized letter-writing campaigns to television studios; Women were costuming publishing fanzines writing fan fiction and creating fan art long before the days of live tweets and reaction videos. Our panelists will celebrate the history of the women who laid the groundwork for modern-day fandom as we aspire to carry on their legacy.
