Earlier this year we celebrated the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and now Star Wars Celebration is pulling out ALL the stops. They launched their exclusive store in November with tons of 40th anniversary merch, and just announced a new sweepstakes:

STAR WARS: EPISODE V - THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK 40TH ANNIVERSARY FAN APPRECIATION SWEEPSTAKES PRESENTED BY STAR WARS CELEBRATION

Sounds amazing, right? Let's break down what's included and how to enter.

Whats Included in the Prize Pack?

There's a lot of Empire Strikes Back goodies in the prize pack. To be exact: all of them. The Tauntaun and the Mynock plushies, both currently sold out, are included along with about a dozen pieces of apparel. A couple of my favorites are the Boba Fett windbreaker and the Tiki AT-AT Punch Bowl. In total, the winner (it could be you) will receive over 30 items.

There are also not one, not two, but FOUR tickets to the next Star Wars Celebration. That's right; the winner will receive four (4) Jedi Master VIP Tickets to Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022. We know 2022 seems incredibly far away, but patience isn't a problem for a Jedi.

How to Enter the Sweepstakes

Getting access to the sweepstakes is easy. Head over to the Star Wars Celebration website, and enter your name and email, and you're in. The sweepstakes is available to US and UK residents over the age of 18. You can view the full rules here. The sweepstakes ends on 12/31.

NYCC 2021 | Cospositivity: Fitness & Body Love in the Cosplay Community

Hosted by Heather Boddy. The cosplay community should be a safe space for people of all shapes and sizes. Unfortunately that is not always the case. Of course we want to feel amazing strong and empowered in our cosplays but that doesn’t mean we have to beat ourselves up at the gym to look like the character we are cosplaying. In this panel we will discuss how to fall in love with fitness and channel your inner superhero as well as what it means to love yourself throughout the process. Cosplay and fitness should both feel empowering. Let’s have a conversation about how to feel better in our bodies in and out of cosplay.
